剧情对比
以舞蹈或体育等为题材的电影往往都有它们固定的一票支持者，毕竟喜欢这类电影的动感和活力的人就如同另一群喜爱武打片中的动作场面的忠实观众或其他爱被恐怖片吓的影迷。我也早自《辣身舞》(Dirty Dancing)，便开始喜欢上这类舞蹈电影，喜欢他们舞得热闹、舞得忘我的气氛营造。通常电影中的另两个卖点便是主人翁的成长和过程中所激发出超绚舞姿。
《舞出精彩》也以相同的剧情发展，只可惜，它并没有能够制造出太大的惊喜或火花。在电影中段的夜总会舞蹈让人有小型《红磨坊》(Moulin Rouge)的味道，也有些许《魅力四射》(Coyote Ugly)的影子。
与较现代的《舞出我人生》(Step Up)相比，《舞出精彩》无法缔造新的舞蹈电影热潮。
